No this is not an optical illusion… this RL Seales Finest 12 Year Barbados Rum 750ml bottle is bent. We think this is probably one of the coolest looking rum bottles we’ve ever seen! Beautifully presented, the distinctive bottle is based on the old style leather flask pirates used to keep their rum in.
Rich rounded and beautifully balanced, RL Seales Finest 12 Year Barbados Rum 750ml is an exemplary example of the passion led processes and bang on the money cask management that the Barbados based Foursquare Distillery is famous for. Bursting with flavour and exuding a wealth of nuances and complexities, it also just happens to make for the perfect whisky drinkers rum!
This bottlinig is hard to find in Australia given it is officially only released in the USA. The 12 Year old is similar to the 10 Year, it just takes it up a notch. Great rum, great balance, great complexity.
TASTING NOTES
Rich oak impressions on the nose with burnt butter, vanilla, rich stewed fruits and coconut aromas on the nose, more subtle and fresh palate with spicy oak, mocha, vanilla and confectionary flavours, well-integrated texture, dark chocolate and a tannic grip.
