Worthy Park 11 Year Cognac Special Cask Series Rum (Limited Ed.) from Worthy Park was distilled in the iconic Forsyths Double Retort Pot Still at Worthy Park Estate in Jamaica in 2011, then 100% aged at origin in Jamaica’s tropical climate.
The initial 8-year maturation was carried out in ex-Bourbon American white oak barrels. The rum was then transferred to barrels that had previously contained Cognac for a second maturation for a further 3 years. Total ageing is therefore 11 years.
A total of 8 casks make up this limited limited edition release, with just 1056 bottles available world-wide.
Extremely limited quantities have made their way to Australia.
