Germana Single Barrel Limited Ed. 43.6% 700ml
Founded in 1912, Germana Cachaca today is one of the most renowned handcrafted Brazilian Cachaças. The Germana recipe stems from a family tradition that began with the family’s patriarch, Sergio Caetano. Since then, the secrets of its distillation have been passed down from generations to generations. This Single Barrel Limited Edition is a very special Single Barrel selection, personally chosen by Master blender Walter Caetano.
This limited release (only 30 bottles allocated to Australia out of a total 228 bottles from the single barrel available worldwide) is aged between eight to ten years in French Oak, with each bottle numbered. The result is waxy lime blossom nose with delicate honey, physalis and bamboo-like woody aromas. Complex, delicately aged grain whiskey-like spicy palate with pear drops, white pepper and light balsa wood.
The Single Barrel bottles are packed in a very special “Palha” tube, a reminder of the History of Cachaça Germana.
